FRIDAY–SATURDAY · OCTOBER 23–24 · South Beach
South Beach Seafood Festival: your Friday or Saturday food plan
Lummus Park · Friday: 7–11 p.m., 21+ · Saturday: 1–5 p.m.
Skip the dinner debate and let the chefs settle it. Friday’s VIP Chef Showdown puts seafood battles, tastings and guest voting at the center of the evening. Saturday’s Seafood Slam switches to an afternoon format, with restaurant samples, live music and culinary demonstrations. These are two distinct festival experiences; choose the session that fits your appetite and schedule.
The practical bit: Friday suits a food-focused night out; Saturday suits a daytime tasting circuit. Stone crab purchases at Saturday’s premium pavilion are separate from admission.

FRIDAY NIGHT · OCTOBER 23 · Miami Beach · Fontainebleau
DJ Khaled at LIV
LIV at Fontainebleau · 4441 Collins Avenue · 21+
Some Fridays call for a late dinner. This one offers a reason to keep going afterward: DJ Khaled is on LIV’s Friday calendar. Pick this if your group gravitates toward hip-hop and a headline nightclub booking. Fontainebleau is the setting, but admission is for the club event itself—not a general hotel reservation.
The practical bit: The venue lists doors at 11:30 p.m. Bring the required ID and review its dress code before heading over; doors opening is not the artist’s set time.
SATURDAY · OCTOBER 24 · North Bay Village
Altego at Palm Tree Club
Palm Tree Club · 1819 79th Street Causeway · Published start: 4 p.m.
For the friend who wants music with a water view, Palm Tree Club lists Altego for Saturday afternoon. A 4 p.m. start gives this plan a different rhythm from a midnight club arrival. North Bay Village also makes it a useful option to consider when your group is staying around Sunny Isles or North Miami Beach.
The practical bit: Build the afternoon around the bay. Book through the venue’s listing and check arrival conditions; the published event start does not establish Altego’s exact set time.
SATURDAY–SUNDAY · OCTOBER 24–25 · Haulover Park · Collins Avenue
October Kite Festival at Haulover Park
10800 Collins Avenue · Noon–5 p.m. both days · Free admission; parking is paid
Not every Miami plan needs a reservation or a pair of heels. Skyward Kites’ 34th annual October festival fills the sky with giant show kites, with space for people to fly their own. Bring a blanket if you would rather watch. It is an easygoing outdoor option along Collins Avenue, especially worth considering from Bal Harbour or Sunny Isles.
The practical bit: Leave room for a daytime outing rather than squeezing it between distant bookings. Kites, food and refreshments are available to buy; free admission does not include parking.

SATURDAY NIGHT · OCTOBER 24 · Miami Beach · Fontainebleau
TWINSICK at LIV
LIV at Fontainebleau · 4441 Collins Avenue · 21+
Saturday at LIV has its own soundtrack: TWINSICK’s mix of dance, pop, hip-hop and alternative influences. Choose this date if your group wants a dance-pop club night after a slower afternoon. Friday’s DJ Khaled event and Saturday’s TWINSICK booking are separate nights, so check the date before purchasing.
The practical bit: Doors open at 11:30 p.m. Start with the official event page to compare the admission and table options that actually suit your group.
SUNDAY · OCTOBER 25 · North Beach · Miami Beach
3rd Festival de Bomba y Plena at the Bandshell
Miami Beach Bandshell · 7275 Collins Avenue · Doors 4 p.m.; show 5 p.m. · Free RSVP
Give Sunday a live soundtrack. The Bandshell’s free festival celebrates Afro-Puerto Rican bomba and plena through percussion, dance, artisan vendors and cultural demonstrations. D’Pleneros, Los Capullitos de Alelí, JACAREO and Miamibloco are on the program, alongside an open bombazo inviting audience participation.
The practical bit: Use the venue’s free RSVP link. The Bandshell does not allow outside food or drinks, so save your picnic for another stop and check its visitor guidance before arriving.
THURSDAY ONLY · OCTOBER 22
Arriving before the weekend? Latin Music Week wraps Thursday.
Billboard Latin Music Week’s October 19–22 program at Faena Forum ends Thursday, October 22. Check the official schedule and the access requirements for the specific session or related event you want. This is a final-day note, separate from our Friday–Sunday picks.

PAST WEEKEND · OCTOBER 16–18
Past weekend: October 16–18, 2026
Miami has plans. Pick your pace: a festival in Wynwood, waterfront music, a late-night club booking and two ways to spend Sunday.

Five plans for October 16–18
FRIDAY–SATURDAY · OCTOBER 16–17 · Wynwood
III Points Festival
Mana Wynwood · Festival tickets required
This is the weekend’s anchor if your plans start with music. III Points takes over Mana Wynwood on Friday and Saturday, with a festival format that rewards choosing your must-see sets before you arrive. Start with the official guide and check the current lineup and ticket options rather than trying to improvise everything at the gate.
Pick this if: you want to build a whole night around a festival. A separate Satellite party has its own booking details; check it individually instead of assuming your festival pass covers it.
SATURDAY · OCTOBER 17 · North Bay Village
Arden Jones at Palm Tree Club
Palm Tree Club · 1819 79th Street Causeway · Listed start: 4 p.m.
Prefer a waterfront music plan to a full festival? Palm Tree Club lists Arden Jones for Saturday at 4 p.m. The North Bay Village location makes this a different starting point from Wynwood or South Beach, especially if you are staying in Sunny Isles, Aventura or North Miami Beach. Check the ticket listing for the event’s entry conditions.
Pick this if: you want an afternoon start by the bay. Treat 4 p.m. as the published event start, not a guaranteed artist set time.
SATURDAY NIGHT · OCTOBER 17 · Miami Beach
Loud Luxury at LIV
LIV at Fontainebleau · 4441 Collins Avenue · 21+
For the group whose ideal Saturday starts after dinner, LIV has Loud Luxury on its October 17 calendar. The official listing gives an 11:30 p.m. start and a 21-and-over age requirement. This is a dedicated nightclub booking at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, so choose your ticket or table directly through the venue and review its dress code.
Pick this if: you want one headline club night with your group. Book the right date and leave room for entry queues; the published opening time is not a promise about when the artist performs.
SUNDAY · OCTOBER 18 · Belle Isle · Miami Beach
Lazy Sunday BBQ with III Points
The Standard Spa, Miami Beach · Official III Points Satellite event
III Points weekend continues by the bay at The Standard on Sunday afternoon. The hotel confirms a poolside Satellite event, with eveava from 1–3 p.m., Bakke from 3–5 p.m. and Nikita Green from 5–7 p.m. It gives Sunday its own music plan without sending you back to the festival grounds.
Pick this if: you would rather keep the weekend going in the afternoon. Use the hotel’s booking link for access details; do not assume a festival wristband includes this event.
SUNDAY · OCTOBER 18 · South Beach
Lincoln Road Farmers Market
Lincoln Road · Sunday market
Need a plan that does not revolve around a stage? Lincoln Road’s calendar lists its Sunday Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on October 18. Make it a daytime stroll along the promenade, with time to browse and pick your own food stop rather than committing everyone to another late night.
Pick this if: your group wants a flexible daytime outing. This is the market date for this weekend; Lincoln Road’s Halloween Block Party is a separate event on October 31.
